CONTEST
It's not too early to start thinking about Keren Or 6! The deadline for contest submission is December 1, 2009.
We are accepting submissions for the sixth year of our Keren Or Creative Arts Contest. Minnesota Jewish students in grades 7 - 12 are invited to submit poems, prose (short stories and creative essays- approximately 1200 words), and black and white or color photographs. The deadline for entries is December 1, 2009

Prizes
Prizes are awarded in each category (poetry, prose,and photography). Winning entries will receive cash prizes, certificates, and will be published in The American Jewish World and on this website.
Help Us Get The Word Out
We would be very grateful if you would display our contest poster and distribute our contest rules and submission form to teachers, administrators, or others in your organization who can get the word out to the students about their opportunity to win cash prizes, certificates, and publication of their poetry, prose, or photography.
If you have a weekly e-newsletter, we would appreciate it if you would publish a brief description of our contest in the next few weeks so that it can come to the attention of Jewish youth and their families.
